I was able to locate a alternative for blogspot that functions similarly to the “What would seth godin do” widget for word press. I tried it out and seems to work well. It isn't a widget, but you simply copy and paste code to the blogger. Here's the link… http://skylark-software.blogspot.com/2008/11/ho

Switching to wordpress would be a little painful since I have a few years of posts. I guess it will take some sort of incredible advantage at wordpress to get me to switch. I am optimistic about what you have coming up since i liked your twitter program.

  4. Hey Bill, can you help me, There are all kinds of twitter buttons, I want to put one into my ebay listing, I don't know how. It says copy it and paste the code, but once you paste it how does it turn into a twitter button? Is there a source you have to use, or does ebay block you from using these unless your “special”.? Hope you can help me or someone else.

Ebay allows you to insert html code into your listings. Therefore, you can put a twitter button with simple “a href” code to go to your twitter site to follow you there. It shouldn't be that difficult. Good luck!

Cheers Bill for the useful info so far on re-tweeting.

  6. Hi Bill: I've listened to your video, and I'm wondering, for thos of us who are trying to get the word out about their website, and who want to re-tweet, etc. for those of us who are challenged to the max to figure out how to do all this stuff, is there anyone who can help (do it, walk me thru it step by step, provide such a service, etc.)
Huuum, maybe I've opened up someone's creative juices vein and they might get such a service going. Anyway, I would sure appreciate you're suggestions! Mike

Mike, the best thing to do is to follow people that teach these techniques (as I do). I will be offering a training program on what I do soon, but it is not yet complete. Watch for announcements of things to come.

      Bill

  7. I'm new to twitter…tried the retweeting for a day and noticed that those were the days I received followers. Thanks!

  8. Is anyone besides me using Flock? They have upgraded and now using Twitter is so much easier, especially to Retweet. Give it a try.

  9. Bill, I apologize but I mistakenly deleted the email that you sent me with the 6 videos on it-the $27 program, on 6/17. What can I show you that will prove that I paid for the program and I am not trying to scam you, besides the information that Clickbank has. You did send me an email on 6/18 with the subject heading “We Want to Know You . Is that something that you only send to people who have ordered your program? I could send you that. If so, to what email address should I send it? I don't see a customer support email which is why I am emailing you

  10. It's worth pointing out the other side to this point: retweeting means simply passing on someone else's message. It's a bit like me re-posting this blog post. Retweeting can be a pain in the arse if you follow five people who all decide to retweet the same tweet – so your twitter stream becomes filled with a reverberating echo that wastes valuable space.

So while retweeting might be a nice way to scratch someone's virtual back, remember that you may be simultaneously irritating your followers by showing them something they've already seen (potentially multiple times).

Maybe it's better to NOT clutter up the Twittersphere with other people's tweets – maybe it's better to be original.

  11. Bill, I just got your $27 system. Thanks. Is this the right environment to get feedback from you or someone else? Why don't I have an “Everyone” link, etc?

  12. Just RT this for ya. I like the social media evangelist idea. More people need to know about the power of using the internet.

  13. Thanks for this. I can cut and paste, but am unsure of the way to give them credit. Do I do it like this? @ with my name and then RT? Thanks for the clairfication. I appreciate it.

  14. Thanks for the message Bill. I appreciate “value” you are good for that. Keep it coming.

  15. Hi,
You have got a good point.
